The beachfront location of this lovely cottage allowed us to wake up to breathtaking views of the sea every morning. It felt like we were living in a serene ocean paradise, with the beach just a stone's throw away. We even had our morning coffee on the beach, feeling like castaways in the best way possible.

Stayed at a charming cottage by the beach. Loved the washing machine, cozy seating area, and toaster. Close to Whitby Abbey and Captain Cook Museum. Towels were provided.

Nothing to complain about. just sat back and fully enjoyed the moldy loft bedroom and unventilated windows.

Close walk to all local facilities including bars, restaurants, Costa coffee, nearby co-op, taxis, and the North York moors railway station.

Located in a great spot, close to the harbor and town center. Spacious with two generous-sized bathrooms, one with a shower cubicle and the other with a bath. Plenty of living space, perfect for a couple. the first-floor bed was comfortable. the cottage also has a log fire, adding a cozy touch.

The top floor stairs are extremely steep, not suitable for young children or those with mobility issues.

The kitchen was well-equipped and it was great to have the option of using the wood burner. The fast broadband and flat-screen TV were also a plus. The fact that they provided tea bags and cooking oil was a nice touch, as we didn't have to bring our own. Plus, we loved that pets were allowed and there was a strict no smoking policy. We would definitely book again and recommend it as a super cozy winter getaway.
